The shape of the deal

- Assisted evaluation, by request. No public download, no self-service sign-up.
- Tested target
- macOS on Apple silicon is the tested target. Windows and Linux builds are planned, not released.
- Hardware floor
- 16 GB unified memory minimum for small local models; 32 GB or more for long bundles.
- Setup
- Guided install on one firm-managed device, in the processing mode you want to test.
- Materials
- Your own bundle, or a supplied sample bundle. Do not send matter files by email.
- Support
- Direct replies from the people who build Vaultr. No service level or uptime commitment.
- Charging
- Any charge is agreed in writing before installation. No automatic renewal.
- Ending
- You keep your notes and exported artefacts. There is no obligation to continue.
Questions this page is expected to answer
Why is there no public download?
Because what is being evaluated is not a demo — it is fit for your bundle, in your intended processing mode, on your hardware. A guided install with the people who build Vaultr answers that in days; a download link cannot.
Is there a self-serve tier?
Not today. The assisted model is a deliberate stage, not a decoy price — the commercial page states what it is, and the access page is the only entry point.
What does a charge look like?
Any charge is agreed in writing before installation, with no automatic renewal. There is no usage-based metering of your matter data, because in local mode we cannot see it — and would not want to.
What happens at the end?
You keep your notes and exported artefacts. There is no obligation to continue, and no server-side copy of your material for anyone to hold hostage — deletion is yours to perform, and it is complete.
