Request a deployment

Vaultr is in assisted evaluation. Requesting access starts a conversation about fit — it is not a download, a free trial or a purchase. We would rather tell you Vaultr is wrong for your matters than install it and waste your week.

What is actually available

Available today
Assisted evaluation, by request. Every deployment is installed hands-on with our team — the mode and hardware are confirmed with you before anything runs. That is a deliberate choice, not a limitation.
Product format
A desktop application for firm-managed machines, installed with our help during the evaluation.
Operating systems
macOS on Apple silicon is the tested target — tuned and verified end to end. Windows and Linux builds are on the roadmap.
Tested hardware
16 GB unified memory minimum for small local models; 32 GB or more for long bundles.
Cost
Evaluation pricing is agreed in writing before installation. You will always know the number before you commit.
Support
Support comes straight from the people who build Vaultr — no ticket queue between you and the source. Instead of a service-level promise, you get the makers' own attention.
Who this is for

Vaultr is for firms that want an inspectable local boundary, source-linked work and a human checkpoint before anything is applied. It is not for a self-serve cloud trial or for teams that need Windows/Linux support today.

During evaluation, you keep the notes and exported artefacts. In Local Mode, matter processing and those exports stay under your device's control; external modes bring the configured endpoint's retention into scope.

What the evaluation involves

  1. 01

    Compatibility check

We confirm your hardware, operating system and matter sizes against the current build before anything is installed.

  2. 02

    Installation and setup

A guided install on one firm-managed device, with the model you choose and the boundary mode you want to test.

  3. 03

    Sample-matter evaluation

You run your own bundle — or a supplied sample bundle — through review, drafting and interrogation.

  4. 04

    Decision on further use

You keep the notes and the exported artefacts. There is no obligation to continue and no automatic renewal.

Excluded from the evaluation: data migration, bespoke integrations, training programmes and any commitment to a delivery date for unreleased functionality. Read the security brief before you decide whether Vaultr fits your boundary.

What happens to the details you send
What is collected
Exactly the fields shown in the form — nothing hidden, nothing inferred.
Where it goes
The site's request endpoint — a form service that logs the request to a private spreadsheet and notifies the Vaultr team. No database on this site, no CRM, and the request is never fed into website analytics.
What it is used for
Replying to your request and preparing the evaluation. It is not added to a mailing list.
How to remove it
Reply to the confirmation asking for deletion — the mailbox and the request log are held by the people who build Vaultr.
